Words = Wisdom

I want to continue from the Live Heart of God last week regarding our “Words” and how powerful they are. I’ve also come to remember that they reveal so much of what’s in our own hearts.

God Says what comes out of our mouth is what in our hearts. “Ouch” I know I am working on the wait 1 minute before speaking and realize ONE MINUTE IS A LONG TIME! Then to remember is it Truth, is it Helpful and the one that always gets me is IT NECESSARY! UGH.

God showed me that we are Loved no matter what, but sometime we don’t believe we are loved and or accepted by God. Our identity is in other things.. and our words might help show us where our identity lies. When we come to realize who we are, and who’s we are, we can then represent Him well. May I give you some things to ponder in a possilbity your identity is not aligned to who’s you are. Do you find yourself comparing, or maybe feeling like your not smart enough so you shy away feeling less than, or maybe you have a title or an education and now that’s who you are. Maybe its in the car you drive, it makes you feel awesome or embarressed. These all may indicate that your identiy is in what you have, or what others think of you or your accomplishments. All these things are not who you are.

When we receive Jesus as our saviour, he’s died for us. Then and only then you can stand tall and come to know He’s your hero. (I call him my hero) I am the daughter of the King, You are the son or daughter of the King.

Ponder this:

The creator of the world God chose to create me Sophia (put your name ________,) because He desired to have a relationship with me (you), he didn’t have to create “Sophia”, but He chose to, because He wanted to love me, and build a relationship with me. Then His Son Jesus said I will die on the cross for Her Sophia. (insert _______ name)Because I wanted her to be able to boldly come to the Father and build this amazing relationship. Father God then said, because of my son Jesus I will put a piece of me in you; Holy Spirit you go and be with Sophia, (insert your name) you comfort her when she needs it, you strengthen her when she needs strength, you love her when she needs extra love, you help her when she needs help, be her teacher when she need teaching, guide her when she needs led, be her counselor when she’s not sure. BE HER BEST FRIEND AND NEVER LEAVE HER!

This is WHO YOU ARE…. Not what you do, or what’s been done to you. Not what you own, or what title you have. You are precious and special when you stop trying to impress others or even think you have to do everything on your own. You are not alone, you are created for a relationship, purchased with a high price. So let me end with LET YOUR WORDS REPRESENT WHO YOU ARE!

This week, maybe stop and journal what might have been a lie you’ve been believing, and write down who you are today.

Read: Matthew 15:18 But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man `unclean. ‘ For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.

Ephesians 1:4-5 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to son-ship.

  • God considers us children of a Heavenly Father (2 Corinthians 6:18). When redeemed, we are again sealed into a special relationship with God. While sin can enslave us to the point of fear, believers in Jesus are adopted, receiving the same privileges as natural-born. Christians can approach God through an intimate relationship, even calling Him Father (Romans 8:16).
  • God values us as precious treasures, capable of honoring Him with our bodies and spirits. We were bought with a special price—“the precious blood of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:19).

My Prayer, Father thank you for your undeserving, unwavering Love for Us your children. Help us to be Slow to Speak, Slow to anger and quick to Listen. Help us to know Who we are in YOU, you are our Identity. We are Loved no matter what.

Love in Christ Always, Sophia Daughter of the King

Our Bridegroom is coming, are you ready?

Featured

Matthew 25:1

God use’s this illustration to remind you and me that we are waiting for a celebration, for our Bridegroom, He is coming for us the Bride. Remember Jesus is our hero our Bridegroom and we the body of Christ are the bride. He uses this to picture to remind us that we alone are responsible for our own spiritual growth and preparation. We cannot expect other people to change us, or help us when it’s time to enter the Celebration mentioned in this story. I know the bible does state the Holy Spirit is our guide, counselor and teacher. But we alone are responsible in keeping our hearts in tune with the Holy Spirit. Walking the walk of Love, Peace, Joy, Long-suffering, gentleness, kindness and self discipline. Not living to satisfy our every whim. I love you to much not to remind you, that you cannot continue being distracted or going alone with the crowd that may be heading in the wrong direction. If you find yourself compromising what you know is right, just to hang out with your group of friends. Then this might be a good time to access who your friends are. Not that they are doing anything on purpose to you, but only you can decide if what your doing is heading toward the goal. We all have a goal some are not Christ centered.

I keep hearing in my own spirit…

WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT SEASON IT IS, THEN YOU WILL KNOW WHAT TO DO

This goes right in line with Matthew 25:1 first starting with these bridesmaids who were grabbing their lamps and getting ready to meet the Bridegroom. In this story the Bridegroom doesn’t come exactly when the bridesmaids thought. So half weren’t ready, they were not prepared with enough oil to meet him. At the last minute they wanted the wise girls that had enough oil and were prepared for the groom to give them their oil. I believe this example is for many who are distracted by so many things, and not preparing their hearts, and spirits and lives for the King who’s coming to rescue us. See just like these bridesmaids couldn’t run at the last minute to those who had been preparing and were ready. This will be like those who haven’t been allowing God, Holy Spirit to change them, those who aren’t willing to do the hard stuff and die to their flesh, sin nature, bad habits. This is a personal responsibility. This means, just maybe it’s time to see where you are in your personal walk with Jesus? Do you have a personal relationship with him? Do you know him, and better yet does he know You? The word says God knows all of us, every hair on our head, when I ask the question does Jesus know you. I am talking about your personal conversations you have with him, your hearts desires, your joy’s, your fears, your concerns. This is called a personal relationship with Jesus. If you know Jesus then you will be ready, you will be filled with the oil.. Holy Spirit to know the exact season we are in. You will not be taken by surprise, or unprepared, or like this parable sleeping.

The saddest thing ever is to miss the coming of our Groom. It mentions in verse 3 there were 5 foolish ones who took their lamps but not enough oil. I believe this could represent those who know of Jesus or know of God, but have never picked up the bible to read his story in the New Testament, or maybe you’ve read it but you haven’t accept Jesus as your personal savior to come and live in you and allow Him to change you. Or those who use to know him or of him but have gotten distracted by so many other things and have forgotten him. Maybe you’ve started a job, a family, or chasing after material things trying to keep up with the Jones (sorta speak) and have lost precious time. Maybe you got angry because of heart ache, or unanswered prayer, or focused on your own pain and have drifted into a pity party and stop spending time with Jesus, reading the bible going to community (church) fellow-shipping with others so that you can grow together.

I believe while we still have time, you can refill your lamp stand today with one prayer. I’m sorry Father God, forgive me for not spending precious time with you, my hero Jesus who died for me so that I could boldly come to the throne and talk with you Father God, and that you’ve given me a piece of you to live in me and to grow in me Holy Spirit teach me today to have a passion and desire to chase after you Jesus and live for your kingdom. Amen.

Don’t delay or think you can come in late and risk hearing “it’s too late, I don’t know you”! verse 25:12

Don’t be foolish, be wise and prepared. Start today keep watch, know the season and be excited to meet our Bridegroom face to face. He’s coming for us, and he’s going to throw an amazing celebration. I will be there and I hope you also will be there, so we can celebrate all together.

God loves you, He’s not mad at you, He so desires to have a relationshipp with you. Don’t believe the lie’s that you have to have it all together first, you start letting go of your will and watch what happens, or don’t believe you’ve mess up so bad that He could love you or forgive you. Those are lies, God gave up everything for US. His Precious Son he sent to the cross so that he could have a relationship with us his creation. Don’t wait till tomorrow..

When we get to the party, and or to Heaven we should already know Him and go running to Him. Not be afraid, because we don’t know Him, or worse be late and not make it in! Some verse to meditate:

Philippians 4:13, Luke 1:37, Mark 9:23, 11:24, Jeremiah 32:17, Proverbs 3:4-6

Remind yourself who’s you are!

I’ve been praying for so many struggling lately with many things, relationships, health, bad doctor report.

With all this heavy on my heart Father God reminded me that You are So Loved and nothing ever takes God by surprise. We as son’s and daughters of the King, Jesus being our Lord. We can say with confidence that His Words are true and powerful. God gives each of us a measure of Faith, and he says even if it’s a size of a mustard seed that’s big enough for miracles.

When I was diagnosised over 13 years ago with hep c, my friend told me to repeat this every time Fear would enter my thoughts. You see I knew God wasn’t taken by surprise even if I was, so i figured He would walk me through this (in my case I figured a reaping of what I had sown 20 yrs prior). I wasn’t mad, but I was still battling with fear, and my youngest son still at home, I was a single mom then. So I repeated what my friend sent me:

SHE SAID CONFESS THIS EVERYDAY FOR STRENGTH:

I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST,

I AM THE HEAD AND NOT THE TAIL,

I AM ABOVE AND NOT BENEATH,

I AM A VICTOR NOT A VICTIM,

I AM HEALED BY HIS STRIPES,

I HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.

I had this memorized in no time, I learned to take my thoughts captive, I did everything the doctor said. I believed; that He who lives in Me, is greater than he who lives in the World.

I stopped and thought about what I was thinking about, before the whole day was a disaster because of my thoughts and words. I learned even when I’m scared, and even when I don’t like what’s happening, I have a God who carries me when I’m weak. He is our refuge and our source of strength. But we have to decide to use the tools given to us, thru the word, a friend or how ever God chooses.

I was confirmed about 3-6 months that I didn’t have Hep C, the doctor looked puzzled and said, didn’t we diagnose you? I said yes you and my other doctor both did. She said well consider yourself lucky, because in some cases your immune system fights it off. I said NO I’M BLESSED AND I KNOW GOD HEALED ME. SHE SMILED BIG, I CRIED IN COMPLETE HUMILITY.

Don’t ever forget who your daddy is, and when tough times come.BELIEVE He will carry you, or jump in the fire with you and guide you. REMEMBER YOU CAN EVEN COME OUT OF THE FIRE WITHOUT SMELLING LIKE SMOKE. Daniel 3:27

I love you, and I know we serve a Big God, and Loving Father who desires to show himself personal. Be Strong in the Lord and if you need prayer please msg me.

“ASSIGNMENTS FROM GOD”

We All get assignments from God!

We have a choice to either receive it with joy and awareness to God.

Which means you will have supernatural wisdom, you will grow in knowledge, spiritually and a keen awareness to the Fathers voice.

You will be able to see miracles, and have strength, faith, and perseverance, grow in yourself and the persons that may be an assignment or in assignment with you.

If you choose not to accept the assignment from God, you will be required to do a task with a burden attitude, an heaviness. Which can turn into a bitter attitude, an self defeated attitude or a pity attitude.

Everyone is on a Journey and when we know God we can grow by leaps and bounds..

KEEP IT SIMPLE

The moment we been waiting for to go back to some kind of normal. As we approach May 1st and we are able to get back to some things we’ve missed. Let’s remember to keep things simple.

Let not rush back into the same old insanity, or over whelmed schedules. Let try and remember maybe something we’ve learned, or enjoyed while we were at home. Let ask God to remind us of what He desires us to return to. Maybe a state of mind, an attitude of gratitude for things we’ve miss.  I’m going to leave you a  S.I.M.P.L.E acronym to meditate on.

Slowly move forward into our routines. (If at all possible don’t over load you schedule or unscheduled. God is productive and a God of Order) Proverb 19:2

In ALL things put God 1st. (start your day with God, and  pray, talk to him through your day) Matthew 6:33

Meditate on a verse weekly. (Maybe get a verse on Sunday and ponder it for the week). Psalm 1:2

Praise God through your day. (the enemy hates when we praise God when things are hard, so remember praise is an attitude of thankfulness) Isaiah 25:1

Let the Peace be present. (check yourself to be sure you haven’t lost your peace, if you have go back and find it. Sometimes it’s a thought or a person but you can pick it  back up) Colossians 3:15

Every day is a Gift from God. (live like you know that, Smile when no one is around, Laugh at least once a day, tell someone a kind word at least 1 time a day) Ephesians 2:8-10

Your Are Love and Precious to King of Kings, God adores you and never forget Jesus is our Hero.

Love in Christ, Sophia –Daughter of the King.

TRUST!

TRUST~Noun-firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.

Today’s Blog The Heart of God:

Who do you trust; this is a unique emotion or feeling. Sometimes just a decision.

We can trust a chair to hold us up, or possibly your job to always be there, your car, your spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend to do what they say. You might even co-sign for someone and trust they will pay as agreed, or even a bank will give you a loan on trust. There are so many variables of trust. I think you get the picture.

But I want to talk about

TRUST IN GOD, THE CREATOR OF THE WORLD.
He created us to live and have a relationship with Him. He’s trusting that we will CHOOSE to have a relationship with Him. This is a FREE WILL He’s given US his children.

Psalm 9:10 ESV

And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.

Interesting to think, that we all don’t realize that we can TRUST GOD! Think about some of the things you may pray for, over and over.. or you may stress about, or complain about, or even make yourself sick about!

Maybe because you’re NOT Trusting God your Creator.

This is a choice we can make daily if it doesn’t come easy then moment by moment.. As things arise in your life you have choices.

So here’s some more Questions to ponder:

  • Are you trusting God for your hearts desires,
  • your health,
  • your next job, paycheck,
  • Food, transportation.
  • Are you trusting God for you comfort? (God never promised comfort, he did promise to never leave us) So don’t run from God because you uncomfortable, because these are the things that help us to run to God.)

If you are, and you find yourself doubting, then your normal, but God desire us to NOT LIVE IN DOUBT OR FEAR.
He said He is trustworthy… so ask yourself Can you trust God as much as you trust the chair you sit in?  Ouch!

We tend to trust in objects more than the creator of the world!

Today I will give you some verse’s to memorize at the end of this blog.

MAYBE write down 1 thing today you need to Trust God with.

God says without trust (Faith) it’s impossible to please him.. You know why he said that, because He can’t do anything for you if you don’t come to him and ask. You can’t find what you need if you don’t know where to look.

He’s the answer to”everything”. He said Ask without doubting and he’ll answer your prayer. (James 1:6) He didn’t say he would give you every whim, but He will meet your needs, and He will give you the desires of your Heart  IF YOU DELIGHT IN HIM, MEANING TRUST HIM, HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM… SEE IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT ME, ME, ME…

When we are so focused on self, then we miss the point. To be in a relationship with Him who knows us best. Take your eyes of yourself, or you circumstance so you can see clearly.

God,  He’s the source, if you had a best kept secret of a pond in your back yard that had nuggets of gold at the bottom, then I can bet you and I both would go there to your pond ever day and jump in, to find your gold.

This would become  your daily routine, and you would trust that its going to have your gold.. WELL GOD’S OUR POND, AND WE CAN TRUST HIM TO GIVE US NUGGESTS OF GOLD.. NOT ALWAYS OF THIS WORLD, BUT THE WORLD TO COME. HE PROMISES TO MEET ALL OUR NEEDS, AND HEARTS DESIRE.. So with that comes TRUST, JOY, PEACE, LOVE..

EXCITEMENT TO LIVE AGAIN.

So again, I’ll ask where’s your TRUST?   Here’s the verses to memorize, and Ask God for MORE FAITH IF YOU NEED IT any area. He’s happy to give you more. WE JUST NEED TO ASK.

Be vulnerable able with God, He already knows everything, and waiting for you to lean in. HE LOVES YOU SOOO MUCH, and so do I.

Love in Christ Always,

Sophia ~ Daughter of the King.

 Psalm 37:5 ESV

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.

Isaiah 41:10 ESV

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

SEEDS AND YOUR HEART!

There’s some planting going on, and some toiling that may need to be done in your heart… Let’s talk about our Hearts. Are we leaving some area’s of our hearts untouched, and in that Brings some hardness, or some hidden area’s that God desires to till, so that you can harvest 20,30 even 100% more than you could ever imagine.

Jesus gives a great example or story of our Hearts and how we may not even realize that the soil of our hearts are unhealthy. Let me share from the parable of four soils from Mark 4. He explains the farmer who scatters seeds to grow a crop, the farmer represents anyone who brings God’s message to others.. As we spread the Good News, that’s the seeds that are being spread among those in our area of life. Remember God assigns all of us to different areas, regions, class of people etc.  The farmer is doing his job to grow his crop, planting, watering and God does the rest. Once the seed is in the ground, it’s then up to God to grow it.  As we look for areas of good soil.. we must remember nothing can grow if the ground is so hard the seed doesn’t go down, or if the soil is thin and there is no place for it to take root, or if the ground is full of thorns, weeds… it can’t take root.  I will explain these area so that maybe you can check your heart to see if you may need God to plow up some areas that are keeping the SEEDs of God from taking root and grow in you.

We cannot expect others to change us, or even do heart surgery. WE have to take responsibility for our own heart attitude or soil if you may. It comes by leaning into His Word the SEED of God and taking time to allow it to grow in us. Being honest is part of the process.  (Remember no one is perfect we all need tilling, growing, and pruning) He is our Master Farmer Lovingly growing us in the area’s we have given him permission. God waits for us to surrender.

You can ask yourself these questions for a heart check!  Am I hurting, Am I angry, Exhausted, Resentful, and Stressed out. These are the things that can cause hardness of heart to form. This will help you let go or bring to God for healing. He desire you to trust him and let him heal your pain, fear, insecurity, bitterness. These are the very things that keep us from growing. For God to transform us. We don’t want to be like the Seeds that fall on a hard path and the enemy come and snatch the truth, or we get excited about our new found Jesus but soon fall back into old bad habits, these happen when there are things in our heart that we aren’t being honest about.

Maybe you get excited about know God and meeting Jesus but then the world pressures or distractions come and lure you back into the world and not in the Kingdom coming.  God says we don’t always know our hearts, so we must ask him or ask Your closes friends that you can trust to be honest, and you be willing to hear truth that may hurt at first, but so necessary to hear so that you can grow up spiritually.

Hard ground = is where some seeds fell, representing a hard heart of some of those who hear God’s word or his message, satan comes at once and try to make them forget it.

Thin or Rocky soil =  The heart of those who hear the message with great joy, but the seeds don’t take root and they soon as challenges come in their life they wilt and die.

Thorns= is where you hear the word of God and receive it with great excitement, but then the attractions of the world come like wealth, success and nice things lure them away and over crowds their hearts and no crops are produced from the seeds.

Good soil= is where those who hear the word and truly accept God’s message, they turn from the world and pursue God with all their heart, they are so excited and in Love with the Word their seeds grow deep and produce a great harvest for God. God says this can produce a harvest 30, 60 even 100 times more than they planted.

You see God desires to use you and grow you to do great and many things for the Kingdom. Not of this world but the world to come, the one that we will live forever.

He reminds us, when our hearts our open and soft, we are a Light set upon a table for all to see, and for those to be drawn to in a dark world. Imagine a room that is dark, you turn on a lamp, are you going to put the lamp on top of the table so all can see clearly or are you going to Put the lamp in a closet, or under a blanket and no one can see it. YOU ARE THE LIGHT, SO BE THE LIGHT WHERE GOD HAS PLANTED YOU, LET HIM GROW THE SEEDS. Stop looking back, or looking at your hurt, your pain, you misunderstood, or mistreated from someone. Take  your broken-heart and trust God with it. Then you will be MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER ASK OR IMAGINE. Ephesians 3:20

You can be a beautiful LIGHT FOR GOD.

Starting New with our Armor of God on!

Sometimes we get all excited to take on new task, new assignments, new journeys. We forget as Christians we are in a war, a spiritual war. We don’t have to start any wars, we are already in one. As soon as you say yes to Jesus, you are signed up! No fear we already won. But we need to be wise and put on our Armor as described in Ephesian 6.

I will break down this armor so you may be better equip.

With the belt of truth (vs 14) May your truth rule in my heart and be in my mind and on my lips today.

With the breastplate of righteousness (vs14) Apart from you there is no righteousness, but through Jesus I have been “born again” and made righteous (right) in Your sight. May I live as a righteous person today.

With feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the Gospelof peace (vs 15). May I reflect the Gospel in my words and actions, that through me, with every encounter i have with others, may they be drawn one step closer to You.

With the Shield of Faith (vs 16. May I take You at Your word concerning promises about the present and the future, Promises of everlasting Love, Abundant life, and so much more that we could ever imagine mentioned in Ephesian 3:20.

With the Helmet of Salvation (vs 17). Remind methat nothing can separate me from Your Love and that I’ve been saved by Grace. In your Grace, help me to say “no” to all ungodliness ad wordly passions, and live a self controlled, upright, and godly life. as mentioned in Titus 2:12,13.

And the with The Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God (vs 17). May your Holy Spirit reign in my life and bring to my mind just the right Bible verses to be in my heart on on my lips at the right time. For my strength or others. May I be “filled with the Spirit” and ready with the Word of God as you were Jesus when you were walking this earth and tempted by the devil. You were victorious and so will I.

Finally, keep me in an attitude of prayer (vs 18). Remind me to “pray in the Spirit on all occasions”. Help me to be alert and always praying for other sisters and brothers in Christ; to be joyful and to give thanks in everything as mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

PRAY ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Put on the armor with this prayer Paul’s explains in Ephesians 6:10-18 using Gods Word, the sword of the Spirit, as we struggle, “not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Remember: God our Father doesn’t send us out unequipped. We have everything we need in Jesus Christ. We just need to Believe and God with boldness and confident that YOU ARE THE CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD AND THE BATTLE TRULY IN THE END BELONGS TO HIM. WE DO ALL THAT WE CAN AND THEN STAND FIRM ON HIM!

Have a Beautiful Day, because You know who’s you are.

Love In Christ Always, Sophia Daughter of the King.

The breakdown portions taken from Navigators discipleship

WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?

Do you ever get tired of going around the same ol’ mountain as they say.

Something to Ponder and Ask yourself are you done?

Or maybe the same routine, and expecting different results! I think we’ve all done that,  it’s great in the beginning until we realize nothing is changing and we get frustrated. We get some new ideas and we start them, and soon they become mundane and we default back to what we always do.

Been there done that! Ugh    So today let suggest how we might want to ask the creator of the universe.. You know My Father God, my Hero Jesus, my teacher Holy Spirit.

I came across something I wrote years ago, about new things happening being prepared, just to realize I’ve written that before and I’m still not doing it. So I as I kept reading it reminded me, what the word says, That we must first be renewed in our Mind! This is a process of course that only I can do,  that’s take my Thoughts captive and then THINK ABOUT WHAT I’M THINKING ABOUT…. I heard the only way to be permanently changed is by the transforming of your mind by the word of God. (this is true because I keep trying and it’s only temporary, but God has transformed things in me from my past that are permanent)

So this means we must learn the Word, taking baby steps if you read your proverbs every day, then that would be a great place to start writing something down that pop at  you!

Most of you know, the first verse I ever memorized 30 yrs ago. Proverbs 3:5-6  ( I suggest you look it up) it’s a good one.  I will purposely not write out so that you can go and search it out.

Another thing my Father God says in his word, that when we find something of value in his word, we are to seek it out like a hidden treasure.  You know if you were told there was a large amount of money buried in your back yard, you know  you would be on a mission to find it, you would search for it probably every day. Well, this means we all have drive in us, a drive that will get excited about something and put a lot of effort into it. Even if it’s hard, and maybe mundane.. you would still be digging around in your back yard, if you had to do it for months to find the treasure. I believe God’s word is a treasure for us to Seek and Find.. His Truth will set up free, free from what!

Burdens, hidden secrets, un-forgiveness, pain so deep you’re not even sure where it started, these are the things that keep us stuck in unsatisfied lives, or lack of Joy, lack of Peace, Lack of Love, trust.. all the good things God has for us. He can be our physicians and heal us from the inside out. It starts in the Mind, this is where we can learn to think different, sing songs, quote good phrases.. Instead of playing the same old tapes in your mind. The one’s that tell you, you’ll never change , you’ll never get free from addictions, or fear, or find a spouse, find a job, find the career you’ve been working toward. These are all lies and this is a tape recorder that’s been going on in your head for who knows how long. It’s time to erase the negative and start re-recording some Hope, Joy, Excitement.. and it you’re never too old Abraham we almost 100 when God started using him in a new way as a Father for the first time.

Focus your thoughts on the word of God because when you make the Word your #1 focus, something supernatural takes place.

ONLY I CAN CONTROL THE DOOR WAY TO MY MIND…. Today let me remind you that you must stay in His word. (eat, study and think on the word)

PSALM 119:10  YOUR WORD IS A LIKE A LAMP FOR MY FEET AND A LIGHT FOR MY PATH..

I hear your word is a light (direction) for our life. Your word will clearly show us the way you want us to go, by renewing our thinking. Giving Us a New Joy for Today.  Baby steps to start climbing this mountain it will be good and exciting. Need support, prayers msg me.

WHAT IS LOVE IF IT CAME AS A GIFT!

December 18, 2019

Today’s Heart of God Blog

What would Love look like in a Gift form!

If someone handed you a beautiful wrapped Gift and Smiled reaching out too you!

Your response, I’m sure would be a Huge Smile, and  Humbly reaching for it with great expectation.  At least that’s how I picture my response… But as I pondered this with my Father and I see love in such a different fashion…

It looks like this to me!  (I write this from a personal place).

  • To Give a Hug when I don’t deserve it.
  • To touch me when I am nasty dirty and untouchable
  • To Kiss my cheek when I’ve just insulted you.
  • To give me  your shoes, when my feet are  filthy gross to touch or even look at, and yet you stoop down to help me put on  your shoes.
  • To drive across town to meet me, just to be forgotten when you arrive.
  • To not bring up my pain of my past mistakes and life style
  • To speak lovingly when I’m angry and not lovable
  • To not insult me or talk down to me.
  • To tell me  you LOVE Me, when I’ve hurt you badly
  • To carry me or walk with me when I’m cranky tired.
  • To call my Name or text me, when I’ve ignored you time and time again.
  • To wait patiently for me while I run from you.
  • To come to my rescue when I’ve falling in a pit of Hell.

This is Love  in a form of a “Gift” given to me in!

~DIRTY, STINKY GRASS COVERED, OLD WOODEN MANAGER! MY GIFT, “BABY JESUS”~

THE MOST AMAZING LOVE GIFT, I’VE EVER RECEIVED. HE HAS TURNED INTO “MY HERO”

Ponder this in the days ahead!

How do you act when you receive a gift not wrapped the way you would expect!

LOVE HAS NO BOUNDARIES, LOVE CANNOT BE EARNED

IT’S A FREE GIFT YOU CAN ONLY ACCEPT!

This Season write down what your “Gift of Love would look like.

Building a Relationship With God.

Seems appropriate to now focus on building this relationship that I’ve mentioned in the last blog.  You know, the one where you’ve just known of God long enough that it’s time to take it to the next level as they say in a relationship!

So let talk about how I fell in Love with my Hero Jesus, this is the only way I can help is by sharing my personal experience. You see we all have our own story as they say, and I won’t get into my long testimony, but just the beginning and how I started, maybe this will help you to assess if you stop your relationship early on.

Because I’ve known of God my whole life, as long as I can remember I went to church since I was a little girl. But I had no idea I was suppose to have a personal relationship with God’s son Jesus. I figured like most, I go to church, I’m pretty good persons, I’ve never purposing hurt anyone. Sooo the story begins.

I never realized that I could or was even invited to know God personally or His Son Jesus. I heard stories, and seen pictures, and it all was nice! Christmas was always special because of  Baby Jesus. I never really imagined him bigger than a baby..

So after I ran my own life and basically turned into a very self center drug addict and traveled across country several times, getting into more drugs and legal troubles. I found myself with a great friend who I married and we got more into the night life and party scene. Only to come to a screeching halt when my husband at the time had emergency open heart surgery and then within the year went totally blind. Yes, you might say that was when I took a very serious look at where my help would need to come from, something bigger than me that could help with this situation, you see not only did I now have an addiction, a blind husband but I also had two young son’s 4 yrs old an 2 yrs old depending on me.  You see, I lived for at least a decade of what I know call insanity. I was on my knees now!

But God was so patient and heard my cry, I needed not only help with my personal addiction, but I needed miracle for Jim. I passionately pursued Jesus, I was scared and full of pride. It’s strange to think I still kinda thought I could figure things out except for Jim’s health. I can remember watching God move us from one low place to another, until I surrendered totally. When I gave up, I gave up everything.. I wanted to know exactly how I could live differently even maybe like Christ and how I wasn’t sure in the beginning.

I read 1 John where he talks about God is LIGHT in Him there is no darkness, I started asking God to show me how to live differently. I would pray for what to wear,  how to talk, you see I had inappropriate clothes and a sailor mouth. I read in the Bible Ephesians, James. 1, 2nd 3rd John. You might say this is where I started.

1 John 1:5-7 God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

I really wanted to live in the Truth. I didn’t want to go back to the way I was or even as a child not really know God. I watched God do miracles with my own eyes, I seen my exact pray be answered. I fell in love and wanted to know this Jesus more, and more.

I pursued Him, after he had already pursued me. Read 1 John it talks about the love God has for us and I needed to know this Love, because I was full of shame and guilt.

When you truly build this relationship on a daily bases, the guilt and shame falls off, the unhealthy lifestyle changes.  And you learn to hear God voice for yourself. I truly believe because I prayed (talked to God about everything) I learned what his voice sounded like to me. As you interact with God, His Son and the Holy Spirit you will learn to hear his voice. I comes to everyone in a special unique way. He know best, for some the hear in their heart, some hear thru dreams, some hear thru personal word spoken to them thru the word of God or others sharing. I believe God will speak to each on of us if we desire to hear.  You also just like myself  learned that I didn’t have to only call on him in crisis situations. I could talk to him about everything.

I found this love letter,  I wrote  one year into my relationship with Jesus.

I want to end this blog with it. To hopefully encourage you into this kind of relationship with the Father and His Son Jesus my personal Hero.

We don’t want to be like the 5 virgins with their lamp stand empty, and they were not ready, they had some oil (which I believe represents the Holy Spirit) which means they didn’t build a relationship to sustain thru the waiting. Remember we don’t know exactly when he’s coming.  He did tell us to pay attention to the season’s not necessarily the 4 seasons, but what’s going on in the world. Luke 21:25-27

Our King, our Bridegroom is comes. Matthew 25:1-13 The Parable of the Ten Virgins

Remember we could never earn his Love, it’s a Free Gift waiting for you to come and settle in, and desire to know the one who created you and me. The one who gave up everything for US.

2 Corinthians  5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

It’s worth ever challenge, and sacrifice you may need to surrender!

“Relationship” vs “I know him”

RELATIONSHIP VS  “I KNOW HIM”

Blog for The Heart of God ~  November 20, 2019

I want to expand on the Bridegroom coming from last blog. You know to have a relationship with someone you have to go after them and desire to get to know them. We all have friends that we don’t really know kind of casual. We are respectful, polite and distant. You of them and you see them occasionally but you don’t know anything else personal. You also have friends that you know very well, you are close, you are transparent with, and you know what they like, what they don’t like. You maybe go over to their house or meet up often. As you have gotten to know your friend you like spending more time with them. This is called a relationship, in case you didn’t know where I was going with all of this!

I know that if we want to be ready for our Bridegroom Jesus, then we should get to know Him and His Father.

We need to build a relationship with him we have to be will to be intimate with him, and by that I mean  you don’t keep your distance, you don’t just be polite and not talk bad about God or in other words use His name in vain. You have to be willing to do more than just go to church on Sunday.  We must have daily quite time with him, reading a little, sharing a little with him (prayer) and then listening.

We must also be transparent let him know that you are upset about something, or your feeling anxious about something or someone. Or even how excited you are about something or someone. You have to start being real with Him. Stop just saying memorized prayers, have real conversation. Remember when we accepted Jesus as our personal savior, He sent the Holy Spirit to live IN US! So we aren’t alone, we can get real, and know he’s not mad at us, he already knows how you feel and what you’re thinking. He wants you to open up, so it releases the shame, guilt, anger etc.

You must be willing to submit yourself to him; this is a mutual submission… PONDER THIS! God submitted first to US, by sending His Son to die so that we may boldly come to the Throne of His Father God.  This means God wants to know you more, and want you to want to know Him. I can’t imagine anything else He could do to show us that He cares, He Loves, He desires to hangout with US. He shows us in everything around us, His creation flowers, the sun, birds, sky, ocean, the beautiful sunrise’s and sunsets. These are His masterpiece for US his Son’s and Daughter to Smile and say WOW look what my Father did today.

FYI: On a personal note: He’s the coolest person I know, great artist, great listener, great miracle worker, great comforter, chain breaker. Great sense of humor have you seen some of these animals…. Best Friend EVER!

Jesus waits patiently at the door, he says He knocks in hopes that we let him in.. into our hearts, minds and our daily everything.

Remember God doesn’t want a relationship that’s casual, respectful and distance and based just on holidays or Sundays.. He wants a deeper relationship, but most would rather keep him at arm’s length so you can keep doing the things that cause you to maybe feel like you’re in control, or keeps you under stress, fear, anger, compulsive behaviors or hold on your anger, bitterness. These are the things that keep so many Christian from a deeper relationship with our Savior.

God can force us to obey by the consequence, and fear him, but He can’t force or make us Love Him!  Just like your own children, or family members.

Don’t get stuck in your religion of routines and rituals and miss out on a beautiful relationship. And like the 5 virgin in the parable I shared last time they weren’t ready for their King come, they thought they were, but they were distracted and distant. And when the door shut, He said he didn’t even know them. My heart breaks for anyone who doesn’t know Jesus on an intimate level.

Let me break this down!

  • Intimate means quality time alone with God. Reading and Listening.
  • Never be hasty in your decisions without checking with God your Father
  • Be consistent with reading his word so you can cover your mind and heart with wisdom and power, knowledge.
  • Count the cost, you may have to give up some things for God.
  • Be willing to do things for God. Don’t get caught up in only asking for your needs.
  • It doesn’t matter where you’ve been, God’s Love will never change toward you.

Start now having a personal intimate relationship with the Creator of the world. He’s waiting, please don’t get so caught up in your world that you forget to talk to your Father and you only go to him when you’re in trouble or need something.

When we tend to only pray for our needs at the time of trouble, then we don’t realize that we only know of God.  Be careful that you don’t become religious, when you go to church on Sundays,  never get out into the world to minister to others,  only thing of yourself and what you can get or have, you may become judgmental and critical of others, Other’s that God loves and died for.
